Running away to survive is something that most of us had to do. Unfortunately, not many of us make it to the other side (the unknown)—the ones who managed to make it end up being a stranger no matter where they go. The worst part is to be a stranger to yourself, not knowing your worth and values.

What are the different types of depression?

I have been suffering from depression from a young age.

I thought something was wrong with me as depression was not a conversation we had; I did not know I was depressed.

I carried it on my little shoulders, thinking my life was a fatality. I would go to bed praying for God to take me away so I would be released from the pain and emptiness I had inside.

Growing up in this crazy world I now realise that not having healthy self-esteem nearly destroyed me as a person. It's never too late to work on your self-esteem but it's always better to have it from the start!

Surround yourself with like-minded people

We are on a journey of self-discovery in which we need to surround ourselves with people that care about us and will help us discover a better version of ourselves. Remember "BE YOU and BE FREE"!

How do you want to leave this world?

To this question, I would answer: with no regrets!

I want to live this life to the fullest, when my time is up I want to have accomplished my dreams and goals. I want to leave a great legacy behind.
