ABOUT THE BOOK
We all have a voice of doubt inside of us. However, our upbringings sometimes affect our self-esteem to the point that we doubt our capabilities.
The Magic Mirror accentuates the bond between a mother and her daughter at bedtime. The main character, Little Dayane, wondered what special power her mother’s magic mirror has.
She will discover that the mirror talks and everything the mirror says is only genuine and kind.

HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE TITLE FOR YOUR BOOK?
WHAT INSPIRED THE IDEA FOR YOUR BOOK?
I chose The Magic Mirror because I did not like to look in the mirror, I used to hear those voices, telling me that I was not beautiful. This title is a way for me to make peace with the mirror I hated so much.
Seeing how my stories help develop my daughter’s confidence is what inspired me to publish The Magic Mirror. I want to believe in a better future for our children, where they see themselves as being beautiful, strong, and worthy of love.
